Do a 2000 Tacoma 4 x 4 have shocks all around or struts in the front?

The reason I ask is I tried to order a set of ProComps ES9000s and I was told that the front are struts but to me they look like every other shock I have ever had in my life.

Damn, don't look like any of the struts in any of my VWs.

    Thanks.

Weird, I just looked in my Haynes manual and they call them shocks, sounds like a marketing scam to me.

The company I wanted to order from wanted $40 more for the fronts.

Around $26,000 worth of unleaded in the fuel tank.
I definitely put shocks in the front and back of my 99 taco 4x4.

I like communicating with people from the past; it's like a time machine! 88 miles per hour Marty!

You also have a truck, struts and shocks are going to be designed for heavier duty than a VW
