Muffler bearing gone bad

    Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
    While you're under there checking on the injector pan rotary lockout nut, keep an eye out your Johnson Rod leaking from its tip. Sometimes you can give it a few strokes with your hand and it'll clear it all out, but every once in a while it gets stuck and needs the help of a professional (they aren't cheap, though).

    i took my Muffler bearings outs years ago. im running a statick idle kit now, more flow better sound and way less worry about replacing expensive parts.

    You'll need 7 if you want a spare... A simple search would have shown you that there is one muffler bearing per cylinder. Some people just can't be helped... :facepalm:

    Consider removing your muffler bearing completely and going with an o-pipe straight off the block. The torque gains are amazing.

    my statick idle kit will work on a 6 or 8 cyl. I did forget to mention that it needs cleaned a lot so youll spend a decent amount of time on your back getting the job done.

    I have always been a fan of the adjustable powerband over the Turbos. allows you to dial in the right amount of power for the situation and saves fuel.
