    Ever been to Columbus TX?

I'm assuming it's like all of the towns along Hwy 29 between Mason and Austin.

It's like the background when Yogi Bear was running through Jellystone, but businesses instead of the same mountains and trees...

    Dollar General - Church - Gun Store - Church - Deer Stands/Feed & Tack - Church - Sonic - Church - Chevron - Church - Motel 6.

Repeat that every 60 miles 10 times.

    Look up Magnusson Moss.
A manufacturer cannot "blanket" void your warranty based on a modification, installation of aftermarket parts, or service by someone other than the dealer.
They have to prove that the modification/workmanship/parts were the proximate cause of the failure, and they may only deny warranty coverage on the impacted systems. They are not obligated to perform warranty work on aftermarket parts or mods.

So short story, the worst they could do on the BB mod would be to attempt to deny coverage if you end up getting rust at the rear of the front fenders, or water leaks into the cab around the leading edge of the door.

Important note: Magnusson-Moss only covers the manufacturer's warranty. It does NOT apply to "extended warranties" which are not warranties at all, but are rather "service contracts". You are 100% subject to the terms and conditions in the service contract, and they CAN legally require specific parts, labor, and even more frequent service intervals.
    5-lug only.
It mounts up where the front mudflap mounts on the 6-lug models.

    Forgot about DQ.
Most of those towns on 29 have a DQ.

Killa, can you post some pics of the rear of the bucket seats? And how hard was the seat swap to do?

Work in progress. Extang tonneau cover, MB TKO 16" wheels with Hankook MT 245/70/16 tires, bed mat, UltraGauge, K&N drop in air filter, Amsoil Synthetic XL motor oil and filter, removable Fia' Bug Screens for front grill ; ARB winch bumper replacement installed; KC fog lights; Bilstien 5100's on front set to level out weight of bumper.
I think it looks great! I would prefer "distinguished shell" at my age. Besides, the critics' gear is usually soaked in the bed anyway.

Ha...thanks! I prefer to not have a shell, but I am to the point in life where I am over setting up/taking down a tent. Also, I needed a way to transport a longer kayak, so this should work out well.

No I have not regeared yet, I just put the 285/75/17's on yesterday. I'm doing a little trial by fire. Right now it looks like I can clear 35's no problem. So I will be putting som 35's on in the spring. The acceleration was barely affected in my opinion. 2.7 was always sluggish even with stock wheel/tire combo, and plus i dont really drive fast. if im going to do any crawling 4LO will still have plenty of torque. Once I put the 35's on there I may consider regearing. I am trying to get achieve that "stuffed" look like the 1st gen tacomas. But honestly, i can barely tell a difference in the performance.

That's what I like to hear. I wanna get some 285s but I'll get either the kuhmos, terra grapplers, or rugged terrains because theyre all only 51 pounds instead of 60 pounds like most other 285s
