hah yeah no kidding... i was just talking about this with pops... if i knew how to weld i wouldnt have to buy sliders and bumpers from dealers. MUCH more pricey from the dealers

 

thinking about switching over to sport wheels. what do you guys think i could sell my off-roads with stock sized terra grapplers for? probably will have about 6-7k miles on them by the time im ready to sell.

 

yeah once i learn ill get the DIY bumper kits for the front and back. plus my bed rack design will be completed

 

if you decide to go that route, sell them separately. ask linwood. he made a good bit off his rims and tires by selling separate. but i personally like the off road wheels more than the sports.

 

Yes but no...decided i need to swap the lenses between my 2 sets of headlights to be happy with them. The lenses on the retroed lights are yellowing cus theyre jays stockers. Plus one of them has a dead insect inside

I know two now but I've only worked with one guy. While I was wrenching down my jack on the modded rack at lowes the other guy walked up and introduced himself.
Eddie 757-660-0881 - Ground Pounder Fab. I'll vouch for him. He's got metal, tools and a CNC Plasma table. His welds are 8/10 in my opinion and he cares a lot about his work. He's much more familiar with heeps, but he's off for exodus and is available for work!! Tell him Ben the cop sent ya!

I lucked out and got $700 for mine with sensors in them. But I wanted them gone fast. If you have the place to store them and take your time you can make more in the end but I thought the tower of tires was a tacky coffee table...

I don't have any of my certifications anymore... But I welded for quite a few years. Year in high school, year in college, and 2 years as a boilermaker. If you can get the correct MIG welder to support the thickness of the metal, plus all the gas, wire, etc needed for a bigger job like this... I can help.

I weld quite a bit at work...have a good 4 yrs experience on the job...only thing I cant do is tig....yet..have a miller bobcat at the house..would be glad to assist/teach
