Merle's is hit or miss with the wings... When they are on, they're no doubt the best in Denver... The rest of the time they are ok... Been 50/50 in my opinion.
The Rock (wood fire pizza place, broadway & 470) are my favorite wings at the moment.

 

Favorite wing joint is the piper over off south parker road for me. Cheap and good beer deals

I'm not the fastest but apparently by Army standards I am haha. I can run forever though. I plan on training and joining the 10 mile team at Ft Richardson in Alaska once I get there.

Since my wife is preggo, I'll be riding solo all winter. Hit me up when you go. I'm an intermediate rider. I can do blue's (just starting blacks), medium park, and am not afraid to go fast (clocked at 45mph last year going down Mary Jane) I'm wanting to get better this year so that I can do backcountry eventually. Just need some more snow...

Still not sure since we haven't had enough snow for me to test the Guard Dog's. I really loved the Duratrac's though and would've gotten them again if they had been in stock and weren't so expensive.

I'll have to try those. Best wings I've had in the Denver Metro were the smoked wings at The Old Man in Thornton.

I've heard good things about Fire on the Mountain in the Highlands but haven't checked it out yet.

Yeah this morning I thought I was in southern California

 

My brother and his family and my family booked a week at a ski in/ski out condo in Breck over the holidays.

Fucking dismal conditions.

 

The conditions up at the mountains better improve or i wont even be able to get my money's worth outa my pass!!!!! They are calling for snow over the next week though which is great

 

Climate change is a bitch. A ruthless bitch that I wanna lay the smack down on. Trails are closed, but only because of the date. We could still be running a lot of the places up north here if the gates weren't down. Its going to be hard sitting around all winter without the usual fun winter stuff like snowshoeing that I love to do. I guess I can just make a backpacking trip happen over christmas break and not have to freeze my nuts like I normally do.
