I really like the resis. Looks wise, they really fill up the empty fender well.

OH pics will be uploaded. Many many pics. Lol

Right on. Have you guys decided on basic/general specs for the kit?

Still not convinced that Heim steering is the way to go with 2nd Gens with the stock rack as it them makes that the weak point. Even though yes I have it on my truck.

Bend steering rod or transfer all that to the much more expensive rack......I'm right with you on that one Max.

Also you can still limp the truck back to camp or where with a bend tie rod, much more difficult with a broken rack.

If you're breaking your R&P something is wrong with the suspension.

Not entirely. Yes poor suspension can lead to damage and whole wack of other problems.

2nd Gen Racks aren't very strong at all, especially for a high speed beating or getting one tire pulled into a ditch/rut:cool:

I have a 5-lug 1st gen taco, the rack's don't get any weaker than mine and I haven't had a major failure with the rack. Yes the bushing's don't live very long but I beat my truck up pretty bad. I can't say much for 4x trails though but I can see those really putting heavy load on the rack.

Gunna do a 3.5.Most likely. Gunna figure it out friday when I meet them again. I know hiem steering can mess up the rack if I take a big hit but ill have to deal with that when it comes. I may just buy a spare rack.

Do Tundra's front ends not flex like the Tacoma's do? Or is there and engine cage/brace to stop frame flex:notsure:

Yeah dude, 4.5 is sooooper wide. For your DD its definetily best to go 3.5
My buddy has a ranger with the race kit that is 4.5, and hes getting a lot of attention from the po-po's.
    Whatever the customer wants right?

    Looks good Matthew.
