Exactly, I would hate to have to buy longer studs so I think this is my cheapest and easiest fix.

And yes I meant 1/4 in spacer for 1/2" of lift.

    Good thread.

I'm looking at OMEs because I've run their stuff before and I plan on lifting my 11 DCSB-OR, but with a cap, bumpers, sliders, winch, it will probably go from 3" to right at 2" :)

Can the spacer be added to the top with out removing the full shock package? Is there enough drop by lifting the truck and unbolting the 3 studs and just slide it in?

Was thinking about that to bring my truck back to stock height from added weight of a front hitch and fishing rod rack.

You'll need to pull the shock/coil all the way out, slip on the spacer then reinstall.

Exactly, spacers that mount ontop of the tophat go in between the studs on the top of the coil.

To get it in between the studs it needs to be completely out, or at least far down.

I have 5100's clipped at 1.75 and my trcuk is as smooth as stock. If it was only softer, I'd think I was in a Lexus..

A good coil is much better than a preloaded coil.

For those who are 4x4, any pictures of your CV angles with 884/885's?

I thought about it but I think I'd go with the 884's for the 2" lift instead.
