really wanting to know the difference between 18x9 and 18x10? I have a 08 taco with 6" lift. I am looking at the Moto Metal 961's and can't decide if the 18x9 or 18x10 would fit better with 33 toyo MT tires. Can anyone fill me in or give me some good advice?

1" haha! In all seriousness though, I run an 8" wheel for the 33's on my jeep.

What difference are you asking about? Like Sam said, one is 1" wider than the other. The only thing to really take into consideration is the width of your tire.

I know its only 1", I wasnt sure if the offset would be an issue or if the tires would stick out that much more. Its an extra $100 for each rim to have the 10". Is it really worth it.

That's hard to answer, because we don't know what the offset is on either wheel. Could be the same, could be different on each. There are a lot of vaiables possible. Either way, I would say it's probably not worth it, unless you want it.
