    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
Got a good rain soak on the trails all week last week....so I FINALLY had a chance to take my new Nomad out on this hero dirt on Hazards trail @ Montana De Oro.

Went with an average/middle tune on the fork and shocks and it felt pretty good. The dirt was hard packed & super gummy. Bikes stayed CLEAN because of that. Next couple rides will be dialing in the HSC & LSC.

In the back is my buddy's '12 Blur TR Carbon. That bike was probably the IDEAL bike to have on this trail. Turns like a cracked out squirrel.

Believe it or not, this was POST ride. No cleaning needed haha.

The link itself is pricey...but if you stick with a coil shock, it's a no brainer.

The stock link was designed for an air shock, it's robbing the coil shock from utilizing its full stroke(among other magical geometry I have no clue how to explain lol). I was skeptical until I put one on my first Nomad. Transformed the rear end small bump compliance drastically for the better: much more poised rolling/braking on the chattery stuff---not to mention more plush on the big stuff. Basically it brings back the "plushness" to the rear of the gen 2 Nomads that the gen 1's had.

I found a really nice grannysmith colored saddle today :)

Actually, it was a test saddle from :fizik. They had displays for several mfg and you could take several for as much as a week. I just spent the afternoon trying them out.
    How cool is that?

This is Horse Camp Trail @ Montana de Oro. This was on our turn around/air down a little before the very top.
