I just got a part time snowboard instructor position at bogus, which is the one thing that would stop me from going on the wheeling trip, (because training dates got pushed back again to the weekend of the meet baring snow conditions) I am a full time student at bsu and also work at Fred Meyer. Exciting shit

 

Well you better pray that bogus doesent have enough snow to ride on by then. But the temps are dropping, and I bet any more precip will be snow

 

Right on!... I keep trying to go back to school....but we keep having kids. I really want to be a mechanical engineer...but we will see. Shoot me a pm some time and well get together.

And I was going to go to brundage this weekend but I keep checking and don't see that that are opening, so I want to do something fun with my day off, want to go do some exploring up in the Boise mtns? I texted my buddy Ian and hopefully he can go. Weather looks like snow and a high of 23 Saturday, so it should make for some fun winter weather. I found the route I was thinking of taking, I'll try to map it out and show you.

 

Went to the junkyard here and picked up an OEM CV for $90. Only one they had though...

I also dropped my driveshaft off at a shop. The guy said he would have to play with it some to see if he can re-tube it but said it shouldn't cost more than $120 if he can retube it. He said it was too damaged to rebalance. When he was measuring it he noticed it is out of phase which means when I damaged it it twisted a little, maybe that is why there are dents all the way around it.

Um yeah normal clothing but with some extra gear you know like snacks, zombie blood, guns (with no amo cuz come on we be drinking and shit).

I said the same thing to brant about this years moab trip he's only missed the last 3 ive gone on, not only did he miss them but he didn't go at all it's been years for that guy well have to teach him how to wheel again.

Even online the cheapest I have found them is $310 plus $50 shipping. Used OEM ones are just rare still. Hell 2nd gens in junkyards are still pretty rare...

For kicks I asked about a rear driveling, $400 + shipping, they only had 2, one in CO and one in AK.

 

So with all the money you save by not having to buy the axles you have it linked. haha

That thing looked like a POS honestly. Had no flex at all..this one..way different.

 

I only have 3 cheapo's and 4 factory ones. they all break (the cheapo's a little faster) the cheapo's just don't cost me anything to fix.
