I have a JBL 6 CD changer HU from a limited 4Runner too. Maybe that would work

 

Search my posts..I forget the name but I got a good pair of adaptors on Ebay cheap and had them in 3 days.

 

I already have a better radio than stock, and color matched.

Are you refering to my setup? If so yes lots of cutting haha. The carpet, the plastic storage bin and the metal seat frame.

 

A friend of mine had the Bazooka in her Jeep, it went right under the seat with no cutting and was out of the way. Billy, you have a double cab if I recall right?

Yes I was talking about yours. It looks pissa and I like how it hides when the seat is down.

 

If you need the leg room, I am sure you can fit something small between the floor and seats in the middle of the backseat.

Even new door speakers with proper deadening will give you alot more pop

 

The issue is the family. They don't get in the truck very often which is why I went with the AC but I need the back to be useable. I agree with adding the rears. And anything will be better

 

I'd have to really look but you could always hide the tube easily I bet, or just take it out when the family comes in the truck. I bet you could stick it under the back seat against the rear of the cab and it would barely be noticed, if I'm picturing the cab right

It looks like this minus the nice sub install and the cover on the rear center console. The seat bottoms flip up and headrest down

 

That is a nice set up cause they can still get to the seatbelts. That is the reason I would look for different door panels

 

Under rear seat of the access cab there is about 6" from the bottom of the seat to the floor if you take the plastic storage bin put, you could probably fit something 18 inches long in there

 

Ya crutchfield doesnt have them, ********* does. Crutchfield claims 6x9s dont fit because some of them need more mounting depth than our doors have

 

I got this a few years ago, not bad for what it is.
