You actually earned the bonus. FTW

My last company laid me off 3 days before my bonus would have to be paid by law. The company usually lets go salaried employees in February and wage earner employees in July so they do not have to pay out a bonus. Makes sense from a bean counters point of view. They also terminate in December to make the end of year books look good.

Not really. I am retired now. This was one of the better things to happen to me. The job was really stressful and I worked anywhere from 60 to 80 hours a week. I feel better now and I am in better health. I am finally doing something about my weight problem and I like being home with time to do the things I want to do.

The bottom line is the place was not the greatest place to work when the new CIO took over 4 years before my teermination.

The job is fine, it was worth the wait. It's funny that after not working for a long time and getting used to no routine, how fast settling in to the old workweek-weekend routine feels normal. Nice to be getting paychecks again, too! The company Christmas party is tonight, but I'm not going. Jodi doesn't really care for those things, and I haven't learned everyones names yet. Would have been embarassing introducing her to people whose names I can't remember. When I'm working, the people keep getting re-assigned to different department during the shift, so I have about 35 people that rotate through my area. Can't get the names figured out yet.

LOL... I haven't had a relationship that lasted more then a couple months in 8 years.

+ my buddys and I would always go skiing out west on Valentines day cause rooms and lift tickets were cheap. We would either do that week or Superbowl week.

My bonus is based on a hand shake so I can only hope I even get it.
If I don't get it maybe I accidentally order 50k in glass at the wrong size :anonymous:

Great!! that you are happy there. If you went to the party, take name tags for everyone  and have them fill them out... tell them it's for a scrap book and you don't want it in your handwriting

Why the angry face? I'm not some asshole out there leading women on. She's 30 years old so she can make her own decisions. Adults can choose to just have some fun without strings attached. Just consider it a reoccurring one night stand.

As long as you aren't leading her on... it's hard to know who is and who isn't on here... after hearing some of the comments and stories

Funny you say that... I have friends who would break up with the women/wives they have, but they say they are to lazy to find someone else or be alone. I am not that guy.

I'm the least committed person I know. I don't change my tune. All the comments and stories you have read will back that up. If I'm not head over heals I don't string people on like 99% of the other guys do. I'm to old to play the game.

I explicitly told her to keep it between me and her (we have same group of friends) and also that it was a one time thing......Just has turned into more then one time. She knows the story and if she chooses to contort it that's her problem.
