    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    i'd make sure that the addressee goes into their local PO and tries to get it. when/if it gets returned to the original PO, i'd bitch that it should go back free since it was not properly attempted and was then "lost".

    If I'm expecting something in the mail I usually leave a note on my front door telling the mailman to leave it even if I'm not home.

    My favorite USPS story was a few years ago when I mailed something to my relatives...and it got returned to me as an "address does not exist". Well the town they live in there are 2 roads named the same but one is a "road" and one is a "way". The road is much longer than the way so the house numbers are higher. Even though I had road on the address they must have tried to deliver it to the way...twice! I had a picture of their house so I photocopied it, taped it to the box and brought it back to the post office and told them that maybe the picture would help them find the house. I don't think the lady at the post office appreciated my assistance :laugh:

    That is a very funny story.

    And as for the note, I ALWAYS leave a note when expecting a package, but this is SS and the giftee didnt know until last night PLUS it was a "signature required" package so it wouldnt have mattered at that point anyway. They will get it all worked out.

    I'm a bit :mad: there saying the reason for not leaving a note is because that name doesn't live in that adress, wtf is that about, the signature made no difference because they dont have that name for that address, and couldn't leave a note to a stranger. So I am getting in back. And they dont know where it is, it was in florida wednesday and thats all they know.
    F**k usps idiots. I want to go kick a mail truck
