Dealer ship could not beleve it, poor f#@$#$& qaqc at the factory much.
Steering colunm rattle, parts are back ordered, still a f#$&#%$ issue on the 2012.
Hard shifts from 1st to 2nd, auto.
    Intermittent hard starting.

Being a new owner I am not impressed. Under warrenty but this is a laugh. Starting to worry, I hope this bad luck changes soon. Disapointed.

Ohhh and that more people in my area don't appreciate the Tacoma World as much as I do.

I wave and try and inform other Taco owners but they just don't care....

Steering is awfully loose and would LOVE to have it in DIESEL. (My 95 F350 4x4 Crew Cab gets better mpg) Otherwise 170,000 miles of trouble free driving.

    I like the door hooks.
The strap is good to keep the cap from getting lost, but it hangs down and could mar the paint.

Another thing about the strap.... the cap is "stuck to" the truck.
Ever stop at a station where the handle latch is damaged, doesn't work, or was disabled by the station owner to make people stand there?
Pull the handle, and slip the cap in sideways to block it open.

Can't do that with the strap.

    Love my 96 except for:

    -Shitty banch seat
    -speedometer whining
-rough ride compared to other trucks

    Stupid whistle noise from 80km - 100km

Where the mirror sits on the window

The double click key fab to open all doors

The shift hesitation on my automatic

How long the mud flaps are

    No heater mirrors

Oh and yea, the whole no cargo light, what were they thinking

But other than that everything is awesome. Haven't done many mods yet so this is all I can complain about, still wouldn't trade it for anything els

Diesel, straight front axle, lock in lock out hubs. Floating rear axle would be nice but I won't push it. :D

Access Lite Rider Bed Cover, sill protectors, Weathertech mats, Wet Okole seat covers, de-badged, Plasti-Dipped Grill Emblem (black), LT 245/75/16 Goodyear Wrangler AT Adventure Kevlar tires
Things one would expect on a $30,000 Truck delivered to NH:

    Cargo Light
Defroster for rear window and side view mirrors
    Radio not XM compatible
    No foor mats
    No Heated Seats
More aggressive tread on this 4WD Truck

However I did get a fake hood scoop!

Thus far I've added Weather Tech mats, Rain X Latitude Wiper Blades and Lund sill protectors.

It's almost a perfect truck but here are my dislikes:

    Weak frame
Cramped cabin, could be bit wider but being narrow does help on those narrow trails.
That damn squeaky bushing on the clutch.
    Poor gas mileage
Not much horsepower, even in the V6
