Well that is sarcasm, cuz I am to damn old to start another career haha, but I do love what I do. Now maybe someday I wouldn't mind getting involved w/ the Parts Dept. It's less pay, but the hours are better and I would have more time w/ my boys.

Id rather see an entire city without power for a month than see one guy die because he works for a non union company who didnt properly train him. Linework is already dangerous enough even with a 4 year union apprenticeship.

But hey, Im the kinda guy who thinks about other people more than my own selfish needs

Wow. Some serious assumptions there. Guess everyone that isn't union and works for a power company has never been trained. Interesting logic.

How about all the people dying because they have no food, heat or running water. Takes union dilerium to a whole new level.

How many days out of the month are you home? My bro was a rail supervisor (not sure about exact title), and it seemed like he was in a new state every other day. He watched work crews and went to accidents.

Someone I know just left police work to be an engineer.

I work as a Trauma Nurse in a Level 1 Trauma ICU.

Take care of this type of guy until he heals and re-enters society to try it again...

But hey, my pay check is a great return on the taxes I pay for his medical care. Paid 10k in taxes this year and made 90K.

Better than any stock market investment!
