    did the ride improve when you mounted the shocks like that? and did you custom make those mounts?
    ive heard the tundras moved their shock mounts to the outside of the frame because the ride quality is better and although this may not be outside the frame it seems like it might give it a better ride
    first time ive seen something like this...bravo...i like the design


    posted this in the "What have you done to your Tacoma today" thread too but then noticed you had a build thread so i figured you would definitely see it here lol

    ^ 1st gen frames arent dove tailed like 2nd gens so you cant mount outside of frame rails unless you get a wider axle. All 1st gens with stock axles run shocks inside frame rails.
