Just a little bit longer, makes for smoother on leafs. Just wanted to make some really strong ones, just in case. And because I wanted to fab something up.

Very nice, the stock ones do not look like they would take much abuse

 

did the ride improve when you mounted the shocks like that? and did you custom make those mounts?
ive heard the tundras moved their shock mounts to the outside of the frame because the ride quality is better and although this may not be outside the frame it seems like it might give it a better ride
first time ive seen something like this...bravo...i like the design


posted this in the "What have you done to your Tacoma today" thread too but then noticed you had a build thread so i figured you would definitely see it here lol

 

^ 1st gen frames arent dove tailed like 2nd gens so you cant mount outside of frame rails unless you get a wider axle. All 1st gens with stock axles run shocks inside frame rails.

Lol, yes i used yours as reference, but rounded mine, and made them shorter.

 

Rounded mine the other day too lol looks good man. Mine weigh a ton tho haha. Did you hack up the stockers? Or fully fabbed like mine?
