I just had the 5100 adjustables installe on my double cab.. 5100 in rear with AAL... Was fine w stock tires, when the 32" were put on I noticed a scraping/clunking coming from front when entering.. Exiting my drive way. Not mechanically inclined.. Possible reasons???

not sure if you were asking me but i put my 5100's on and had them set at 1.75", although the truck measured perfectly level front to back, i thought it looked nose high so i added the 1" blocks in the back, it does have a tiny bit of rake back to front but i think it looks better.

Sounds like you have 33" tires if you have the 285's. I imagine you are hearing a tire rub on either your fender well or your upper control arm. Look for spots that look like rubber has been rubbing on them. A clunk noise would be loose suspension, just need to check torque values on everything including the lower control arm cam bolts(100ftlbs) after your alignment. Where in Jerzy are you?

@texoma- did some poking around last night.. Pretty sure it's tire rub on the front wheel well, only when the wheels are turned. It's a scrapping, not so much a clunking. I can't notice a nose lean, but my shop mentioned it.. I haven't had it parke level yet to see.

    I'm in South Jersey

When they say nose lean, I assume they mean the front end is considerably lower than the rear. You could set the struts to the highest setting and eliminate the nose dive and reduce how much you rub your tires as well. Of course you would need another alignment. You can also remove the front mud flaps to reduce rubbing there and see if you are rubbing any other plastic fender parts and trim those back as well. There are a good amount of members in your area that, if you provide some brews, could help you out.

a lot of the rub depends on your caster, if you got upper control arms or not. this is why some people rub and others don't.

I got some front trim and the mud flaps are off.. I'm wondering if they didn't set them at the highest setting.. It looks like the rub is at the back of the wheel well
