What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I did the same and no issues. I also paint anything under the truck and in the wheel wells black to make it look tight. Ive done this to every vehicle i own and love the look. Touch it up every few months is easy to do.

 

So you just went to town with some black all up in there?

That's what I do. I take my favorite wheel paint that I use on basically everything, I jack the truck up, and I undercoat my whole frame. Very liberating if you have always hated rust as much as I do. Really cleans the look of the truck up

 

Had a Viper 5204 alarm/remote start combo installed. I wanted to DIY it, but I'm not so sure I could have done it without the truck ending up aflame. I've done a bunch of wiring over the years, but when my best friend who is an electronics engineer wasn't psyched at the idea of helping me, I decided to go the professional install route.

 

Ya, on old 66 in Seligman about 1/4 mile north of I-40 where the two roads run parallel just before 66 heads north toward Peach Springs.

 

Derped the lower section, skewp, and side emblems.

 

It looks good only one mistake that I see and that is the Busch beer

 

I actually like it. Plus when I bring beers over to my buddies place, I know that nobody will drink them. Beer security.

 

I like Busch too man. When it's good and cold it sure is a good thirst quencher IMO. Beer is beer!

Hell, it's brewed by Anheuser Busch... Same people that make Bud Light. As long as it's cold, I don't pay much mind to the difference.

Installed 2nd battery on passenger side inner fender.
The 2013's have some type of flux capacitor in the way and a air pump.
I had to remove both with out cutting wires to them just un-bolted them and pushed out of the way.


I had to cut & grind three bolts in a tri-pod configuration off the fender, not sure what was suppose to bolt there, maybe the jack in non-USA models?

Then figured which direction to turn the battery box and battery.




The hard part is finished, I'll run the wires later. the wire from battery to fuse panel behind rear seat is already in place.

 

Installed deezee bull bar with PIAA 5462 lights. Looks good. The 5462's are 5" in diameter and seem to look better on my tacoma than the larger more bulky lights which are better suited for full size trucks. Next on my list is a supercharger.

 

Those look awesome. Plan on doing mine after winter is over.

 

Upgraded all my audio power and grounds to 4 gauge, plus I added a 100a fuse. Now I can really crank it up.

Made a platform for my ARB fridge and national Luna power pack with inverter.

The power pack is nice cause its removable/portable but also acts as a dual battery and charges from the car.
