I got a "hardware update" from light racing and it requires taking out that bolt to replace bushings (or washers, I can't remember right now) with the ones hey sent me. Nobody else has received one of these?

EDIT- they are washers.

Eric after the bumper install and the winch cable install should be pretty close to game time for the Pitt vs San Diego game, wings and beer at merels for sure.

Meh. A little Lock Tite and I see no issues so far.

Not hard but you need to give it a week to settle and when you adjust the CO's you will need an alignment. I say wait a week, let them settle, and have whomever does your alignment adjust them first to bring back to level.

Yeah I saw that but didn't know if that was Smitty's mark to mate it to the XRC 8 which is an 8k lb winch or if it is the line capacity.

Hmm mine had washers with it when I installed. Are they thicker maybe? I haven't gotten anything so I guess I will give them a call.

Nah just got a bunch of things piling up in the garage that I need to get done and this was one of them. By getting the blower ready I am insuring that we will not get snow tomorrow.

 

so about an hour I walked out of Home Depot on Wadsworth and Bowles. As I walked to my truck, there was 5 tacomas parked in 6 spaces, all nosed into each other. All mostly stock, but the one on the other side of mine was mod-ed out pretty good, pretty much exactly how I've thought of doing mine. It kinda caught me off guard since I'd been looking for a worked taco ever since I got mine (4 months ago). Stood there drooling over it for about 20 seconds until I noticed the girl sitting shot gun texting on her phone. I would have checked it out longer but I didn't want to seem like a creeper.
Truck was black or MGM, lifted, 285's?, truck bed cap with a basket on top, and another one over the cab. Toytec sticker in back window. Thought the owner might be on here. If he is, nice truck buddy... now I have to redesign what I want to do, thanks pal! ha ha
