    Bad but not that bad. Since the car is brand new I would wait till the spring to mess with it. You can always put a little wax on it to see if it becomes less noticable.

    I would hate to detail a car panel for one scratch on a new car. Give the paint time to really cure. With todays painting methods the factory paint jobs are really already cured but I am to old school and like to wait 60 to 90 days.

    Let me look for a website that will explain what you need to do. In essecense you are rounding the edges of the scratch to make the edges absorbe the light and not reflect it back to the viewer.
