No man, go to a V8 with a manual trans that's at your vehicle year or newer and register it in CA. If you want help doing the install pm me.

 

i think right now (before and during collage) i'll save some money and do a 3.4 OR v8 swap later.
maybe turn it into a full on chase truck

 

First, learn to spell (sorry had to). Second there is no "or" it's v8 or nothing. Third, it's V8 OR V8+.

the v8 is a whole different ball park then the 3.4 swap wise, i don't think i have the time and i definitely don't have the money to do a v8.

 

Can't help the grammar thing, it annoys me because a lot of people (I mean it) make this country look really stupid the way we talk and act, but at the same time this country is the leader in trends, so I guess it all evens out some how!

I bet you would be able to find a chevy v8 and trans for the same price if not cheaper then a Toyota v6. Facts are facts, but when you press reliability to the test Toyota takes it's the cake hands down.

Good Morning SoCal Crew! Well this is it, my last day of being a unemployed bum. I start my new career tomorrow as a "Dragon" Space Craft Engineer at SpaceX. Now you bastards will see me even less than you already do. I'll be commuting from Temecula to L.A. (180mi round trip) 6 days a week. I'll be buying a new car for commuting purposes. I will get to a gathering or run as soon as I can. I miss froading with yall. That is all...

 

I went to superstition by myself. I had wood still strapped to the top. I saw a stuck toyhauler by sand finger. Pulled him out and they offered me a beer. I drank it, then told I would be back to hang out. I left going towards wheeler and saw two vehicles doing about 40 mph and whipped it into the sand finger flats area. I turned off my HIDs and slowed to be polite. They did not. The first got within 5 ft of me on the passenger side, the second came straight at me with his bright headlights on and turned within about 15 ft. The first whipped around and followed me at about 5-10 ft. The second pulled right up the my passenger doors in a t-bone fashion the first one passed me then t-boned me from the driver side. They were only a few feet away on both sides. Then they both flipped bitches dusted me and hauled ass to the toyhauler I had pulled out. This is second hand but they said that the rangers hauled ass into there camp all the spot lights on and harrassed them using the exact phase"we are looking for punk kids up to no good". Then asked about some offroad lights that were on. The couple said "you just passed him, that white explorer pulled us out" They then (which I could see now) took off about 50-60 mph down sand finger to sit at top of the world.
