Yep they don't like us but would lose their ass without us. And once one of them becomes famous in America they are oh so sorry. Fuck him and kick him out of the US. Once a traitor always a traitor. So what now all of a sudden his beliefs have changes.

IBTL. But who cares, most countries hate Americans. The song is catchy, and had cute Korean girls in the video. What more can you ask for?

    swing and a miss.

I believe OZ was referring to how you like to everything a political issue.

    back on topic...
this whole situation is summed up in this video
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=7nQ9lmriWOc

gangnam style could have had a similar message as the song from 2004 and 99% of people jamming to it in america would have been none the wiser.

    partly

surely in the 1950's...I guess if they wanted us gone...we would leave :notsure:
if they want us to leave...we should leave.

however, in many cases our presence is for our own strategic purposes.

    correct
    respect?

w/o America that chubby guy w/ the sunglasses and catchy beat would be eating N. Korean Dog chow...:D

Millions more enter China legally and illegally, what is your point? The top 3 countries of origin of illegal immigrants to the U.S. are from our neighbors down south. Where else are they going to go? To Canada? So now they have to risk entering 2 countries??

This is as it should be.
Without this protection, US servicemembers would be subject to all local laws and procedures, which includes Napoleonic Law in most of the world... Guilty until proven innocent. No constitutional protections for a fair trial, legal representation, right to face their accuser, etc....

I'm not saying that's how the legal system works in SK, but we have to be consistent, and our servicemembers need to know that if they are accused of a crime in some POS country, they are not going to be thrown to the dogs in the name of satisfying a local media frenzy.
This, I cannot comment to, and none of us can, because none of us knows what actually happened. The only people that know what happened are the two men in that vehicle, the two deceased, and whatever witnesses may have been there.

It may have been an injustice for the girls... it may not.
WE don't know. Psy doesn't know. The Korean media doesn't know.

Our military judicial system has no problem convicting and punishing servicemembers who are found to be guilty of a crime.

the US offers many things people want.

-freedom (many kinds including religious and speech to name a couple...there are more...many more, especially compared to China)

    -economic oppertunity

of course...those folks from our south could enter Guatemala or Belize and only cross one border...wonder why they dont? :D
