Since all the supports are angled i would have to cut and re-notch and re-weld every piece, but i might just do that.

Are you sure of all of these numbers from when you cycled it or are you just using a measuring tape and calculating distances? I know it sucks but the best way to do it is to cycle it and draw the arcs. Breaking down leaf packs and cycling is a must for proper shock placement

Even if im planning on 17" travel with an 18" shock?
Ive been doing the measuring tape method lately, as i dont have dry place to park my truck for cycling.

    Ohhh...nice catch JD.
There's no substitution for breaking down the pack to the main leaf and cycling the suspension the way it will actually move. A measuring tape will only take you so far.

OK it might have to wait then. I'll do as much figuring as I can today, but I'll be gone tomorrow through till tuesday. When I get back maybe I'll have more motivation to hack things up:p

Awesome. I'll have my own rig so I can mess around with the pressure easily.

As said try 150, but 200 is perferred to prevent cavitation.

Cavitation? As in, part of the shock collapses?

No, its when the pressure in the shock is greater than the pressure in the nitro reservoir. It causes the nitro chamber to collapse and no oil flows through the piston (no dampening). Mostly only happens when the shock gets hot.
