I'm a boarder in N. Co. I haven't been to Steamboat in the winter, but Breck is good, Winterpark, Copper etc.

Cool thanks...I might hit up Loveland this week. I think it's the closest. My parents wanted to come visit this winter and I was trying to think of a place they like and Steamboat is about 3.5 hrs away but it looks like a mountain rd and not sure how that would be in the winter.

Weird, I've been to Penrose probably about a hundred times and for some reason it didn't look like that trail at first glance LOL My Dad practically lives on that trail so most of you have probably seen him around. xD

Steamboat is cool, but it will take a good chunk of time getting there. I would check out Breck, Copper, and Winter Park though first. Plenty of good terrain and much less of a drive to get there. If you're not planning to make an entire weekend out of it, hit up A-basin and Loveland. Just my opinion...

Supersize? I saw no supersizing going on. A lot of union claimed breaks were taken. :D
As long as there are no pics of how Devin and I had to tighten that bolt.
Holy crap that burger and beer put me in a coma. Sat down in my chair about 7pm, woke up in the chair about 8:15, let the dogs out one last time and went to bed. ;)

The suprise was me pre planning how we had to tighten the bolt. :D

Union breaks are a must while doing sweat shop labor.

Yeah I passed out pretty fast last night.

Thanks, I figured for just day trips alone or with the wife I would hit up Loveland or A basin. My thinking on Steamboat was its isolated and with family coming to visit it wouldn't be as crowded. The map says 3.5 hrs away from Loveland, Keystone, Breck are about 2.5. So I didnt know if the extra hr was worth it or not, and it's not interstate to get there. Being new here I dont want to drive a small mountain rd in the winter and have it turn into the donner party.
