AC/Heat switches stop working

Hey yall, sorry in advance if theres a thread for this, I couldnt find one specific for my problem. Recently Ive noticed that every now and then my AC/Heat will go out. Now when I say go out I mean that every now and then my ac switches wont work. Ill be cruising down the street with the setting on LOW or setting 2 and it will just cut out and only the HI setting works. . This doesnt happen all the time and when it does it will stay like that for a while or will come back on after a few minutes. Anyone with this problem?

sounds like your fan speed resistor motor might be starting to go bad.
