Took my little man up to the snow for the first time and of course had to snap a few shots of my truck

Hate to say it, but F that. I think I'll have tracks before I drive on a snow covered shelf road in the mountains again. :anonymous:

He slipped down a very steep embankment, high risk of rolling over. It took a total of 6 hours and 2 winches to fully recover him.

Thanks dude. I love the MTRs. They're not ice tires though! But I have found them to be sensational so far. The lot surface they don't accel on, is ice. And they're still managable. I daily drive the truck in Canadian winters.

Highway noise has gotten louder since I've been beating the crap out of them. They're gouged and sliced on the tread a fair bit. Still in great shape and really take the abuse well. But you can still have a conversation and listen to the radio.

They like rocks too yeah...they claw their way up. Tread sticks to rock very well. Compared to an MTZ...I'd take the MTRs any day.

I let a fellow TW'er, 55checy05taco (pictured) use the other set of chains I brought. He was running ATs and they weren't doing too well on the hill-climbs.

My MTRs (originals) held traction for the whole trail, but I slapped on a set of chains when I had to back out the last 1/4 mile of the trail (my anoos was puckering)
