[QUOTE="OldManTan";6107899]I jumped a Chevy today. I laughed at the corrosion on the battery terminals. They were all impressed with the cleanliness of my engine compartment. Yep I do that to catch issues inside, like corroded battery terminals! :D

And this is the culmination of a few of my older posts. Badges and grill blacked out, freshly washed Nokya yellow fogs installed, winter tires on and red grill emblem.

did some welding w/ my new millermatic 211.
still need to do some grinding/smoothing, then paint.
also some shorter bolts and mount the relentless fab front corner brackets.
welds aren't perfect, been some time since i've used a mig.

This is one of the reasons I love having the tow package! lol I can't count the number of times I've jumped cars that died in the parking lot with it. One Jeep at a gas station with a bad alternator, another one that flooded while offroading and drained the battery trying to start again countless times, and one buddy's dodge that had been on the charger for several hours. That 130A alternator is a monster!! :D

i can, but they wouldn't be cheap to ship. already did this one for the tacoma, and one for my brother's work truck chevy 1500.
then we have 3 or 4 more to do for his co-workers and possibly 1 for one of my co-workers.
so, if i did, it wouldn't be before spring time.

Millermatic for the win. I have a 251 myself. Welds likea dream.

I've been tempted to make a headache rack, but wasnt sure how to attach it, especially after I busted my back glass throwing materials in the bed. Didnt know how mounting to the rails would work. I'd have to weld some D rings on there. Cant ever have too many places to tie to. Did you have those brackets cut witha water jet? Looks too small and fine for plasma. Good Job.

Finally removed my rear spacers so I could clean my rear brakes. I was so tired of the squeal noise.

i've got it mounted w/ t-slot nuts in the rails. only had the 2 bolts on each side for now and really didn't see any shaking other than when on bumps when the whole truck shook.
i think they were plasma cut. whatever relentless fab uses. they did these and the caps and i've got some more gussets on the way for more racks.

Bought it to another dealership about the steering knock. The first dealership would not touch it because I put a lift on it. Assholes

Blew sawdust all over the truck cutting plywood to floor my attic.

Just to update you guys on my previous post showing outdoor carpeting in the bed storage boxes... It seems to be working pretty well. I think the road noise has gone down a little bit. (page 1253)
