So let me start of by apologizing... don't know much about the immense world of wheels...
I bought my truck with the toyota tacoma baja black wheels on it, but black wheels aren't really my thing. However, I do love the metal finish of the same wheel.
Is it at all possible to sand blast the paint off my current wheels to ge the metal finish? Or is there something else I would have to do after taking the paint off?

I'm just trying to see if it would be worth my while to go through the process of paying someone to do all that, or just trading/selling these down the line.
I have been trying to find someone to trade these for the gray version for a little while but i am in no hurry.

Thanks! and here are some pics I found (just googled them)

The cheap route would be to strip them with airline paint stripper (or sand, sand and sand more) and then prime, paint and clear. But if you like the wheels and want make sure they are done right, have them powder coated silver or clear. It's more expensive than DIY but it's cheaper than buying new wheels.

I'd try to see if someone will trade wheels with you. Mine came with the metal-look Baja wheels and I sold them off because I didn't like them. I can't be the only one so maybe someone will trade with you.

Does anyone know about how much powder coating them would cost by chance?

Definitely shop around, i've heard anything from $35 - $75 a wheel. I know out here in L.A. that does them for $35... Great Quality work too... Only downside is he needs them for about 3 days. HE sandblasts them and EVERYTHING out the door for $35 (solid colors) two-tone jobs are $75 last time i checked
