Rear Diff Breathers, heard this a while back

just use a piece of tube and extend it... fuel injection line works best because it tends to not break down so fast.. i have my running up my bedcage to the height of the top side of my bedside. if water gets that far i have more to worry about then my axle.

 

Sounds like a workable solution....however, nothing works better than a length of hose.

On my 96 tacoma, I used 3/8" ID tubing (that orange stuff you get at home depot - it was onsale) and ran it the whole way to the engine compartment. I also extended the front diff breather with same tubing and T'd it in with the rear tubing up at the clutch resevoir.
