I'll be down that way during that weekend so I could be in on this. Depending on how technical these trails are and whether or not my rugged fails will get the job done....

Lol, literally. I'm still laughing to myself. Just got rear-ended, guess who came up with he short end of the stick on that deal? I wanted to slap a Pelfreybilt sticker across his hood and grille. Thanked him for dusting off my bumper

No pics, felt bad for the kid. He looked scared. Seems like takin pics would have made it worse. Beater car anyway. Just grille and hood, nothing major. Once he realized i didnt give a shit we laughed and shook hands. I literally don't know where he hit me, there's some rock rash on the bottom edge so I guess it doesn't show up

Not gonna lie, these are serious obstacles. YouTube it if yer not familiar (the squeeze or heart attack hill, pinyon mtn rd.) Use your best judgement based on your vehicle and ability to drive it. This will be my first time down some of these in my current rig and I expect it to tighten my asshole for sure

Same thing happened to me with my old F-150. Coming home from school there was a roll over crash coming down a hill and everyone jammed on their brakes, a kid from my school couldn't stop in time and ran into the back on my stock metal bumper. Crushed in his bumper and bent up his hood. His dad decided to repair outside of insurance and forked over $2500 for a old Honda Accord. My truck had one little scratch that you could only see when you really looked for it.

Well im game, but you're going through the squeeze first.... I'll decide if im going through based on if you make it through with those fenders intact. Might want to bring a jack hammer, just in case...

Best part of that is you can take it in to Stone and get a lot more free beer because it was a "short fill."

...If you didn't drink it already.

Thats funny cuz one time i was in my tacoma and this kid was behind me in his f150, we were in some mild traffic and we had to slow down for some road construction, i slowed down and he wasnt paying attention, at the last second he swerved to the right and his front left fender clipped my bumper and ripped his fender half way off. I just got a couple spider web scratches on my bumper.

Once you get through the squeeze you are pretty much committed... Too hard to turn around. It was fun to do once. In about another week I doubt my truck will fit through the squeeze again... :D

No "Oh shit" face, more like I accepted my fate and thought this would be a good way to go out.. haha but ya my bumper saved me from an endo :goingcrazy:
Just sat there and enjoyed the view for a bit.
