We had a little snow storm here in MN, my 20 minute commute took an hour and a half. Anyway, it was awesome listening to the truckers bitch about the road conditions, who was stuck where, how moronic certain drivers were how poor of a job the plows/sanders/salters did...

They sure loved it when i told them to have fun sitting on hwy 694 while i kicked off to the residential side roads in my pickup!

No, it's plenty loud enough on its own for me. I don't even turn it all the way up. :notsure:

Got to listen to those assholes down south skipping, while I was scanning.... They took up channel 6 and 11, Wtf is that? You'd think the FCC would kick their asses.... All I listened to was "dirty diaper 21, ahahahahahahahahhahahaha!!!" Fucking obnoxious. Makes me want to buy a 50k watt linear amp to tell them to SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!

I do love the 75 WX ST though, it works fucking awesome!

This is the one I decided on.. the ICOM ID-880H. I chose it because I can RX .459 - 999.995 and with a simple mod, also TX the same. Go ahead and flame me now I have a legitimate reason for the mod and will be licensed

Wow. Great location for the speaker. I might have to consider something similar at some point.

This is considered a better radio, next on my list. The MARS/CAP mod can be done to it just as easily..

Well the price is certainly more appeasing. And I actually like the look of it better too. I like the dual band monitoring at one time. I'll do some more research on this one. Never really considered Kenwood too much, not sure why though, they look like great radios.

Here's a picture of mine. I don't know why it looks uncentered and crooked, it's not lol. Ignore all my clutter, nobody can fit in the back anyway haha

I don't own a CB just yet...actually I lied. MIght have one laying around in the garage. And now reading all this chatter about CB's, I think I'll see if it works, get the necessary parts and throw it in the truck! HAHA.

That's awesome. Never really had interest in them until I joined here and got a truck. I never realized how much use I'd probably have for it when I go off-roading or something.

    Even comical to hear truckers...
