Ok so I have 2 questions for u ..... 1. Do u know anything about trucks or vehicles in general (not as a derogatory question) 2. How r u getting work done to ur truck and have no clue what it is!?
I hope for ur sake its not a spacer lift because be prepared to be very disappointed in ride comfort

 

Cai are proven to actually loose low end torque and hp. I have one so I know. And as far as s/c vs. turbo, it depends on what u r doing with the truck. S/C = more consistant power band resulting in more low end torque and hp, would be better for towing and offroading. Turbo = big power while under full boost but meaning that full power is only achieved in upper rpm range consequently resulting in little to no low end power gains, would be better for racing (drag, circuit, autocross, drift, etc ....) Although in my opinion there is no sound like a turbo

Gideon good point!! And I would be towing and offloading more. And I read up and maf cal also shows more fuel improvements than the cai. Which anything will help with this 14 I'm gettin now :/ and yes nothing sounds better than a turbo spoiling up mmmm lol. An haha he's a funny guy ( don't tell Zach that though) he might get the big head. On the brighter note just ordered 10,000k low/hi beam headlights and 10,000k fog lights for under 100$ haha people are gonna hate seein me come now!!!

 

I got my rough country level lift with 3 in spacers in front and mine rides just fine. Sways a little on the interstate but no comfort lose. Gets squirrly on bumpy back roads too haha but I enjoy gettin a little sideways every now and then

 

I think what u should do, and obviously u don't have to just listen to me, is buy a drop in filter like K&N, AFE, etc and get the maf cal, which I also have. Whenever I bought my truck brand new I was getting about 22 mpg, I put a drop in K&N filter in and instantly got 25. I was very suprised. Then I put the cai on and got 23, then the maf cal and got 24. Then lift and tires and down to 20 right now.
And yeah I would hate u if u were driving at me, but u would hate me more once I showed u my bright lights!

I can only speak from my experience and my spacer lift made my truck ride stiff. Def not comfortable like it was stock

 

It will be lowered but keeping it simple as it gets around 30 mpg. Turbo will be inevitable since it makes 61hp stock... No exaggeration.

 

When I bought my truck it already had a 3 inch spacer lift. I thought it rode fine until I put a set of icon's on there and then I realized what you are talking about it. Night and day difference in ride quality.

i have a avh P4400BH. i was looking at stuff at wall mart and most of the name brand (not the stupid knock off shit) stuff they have is a few years old.


i saw they had kicker amp/speakers/subs and it was all 2 or 3 years old. prices are good, but stuff is just way out dated. before you buy check what model it is and when it was made. imho i would not spend $300 on a unit that is 2 or 3 years old when you can exactly what i have for like $509 from crutchfield.


and you should get on more.

 

So... I installed my new lights last night and wrote up a how to for people that buy the lights from Burt. I really like the light output and I think they look good. What do you guys think?

Damn Gideon must be nice at 20+ mpg. I wish I was gettin that. And yea Zach I didn't even think about a lookin at how old the shit was, my buddy did put the kicker speakers in his 94 toyota and try sound pretty dang good once he got them fine tuned and yea I know I've been workin so much lately. I'm hoping these lights come soon
