So I found out that I have a broken moter mount and need new front U-joints. The cheapest Stealership prices for parts and labor is at Alamo Toyota 281. They said they can do everything for about $380. Which is better than Cavenders $620 or Universal's $585

*Update, Toyota does not sell U-Joints for the front individually and will not put on aftermarket parts. So I am going to have to look for a shop that will replace them. Any input fellas?

Unbolt the drive shaft and do it yourself. And Toyota not installing aftermarket parts is total bullshit. I've had aftermarket wheel bearings installed by Toyota two different times now.

You can pull the driveline and take it to a shop with. Press and have them do it. I'm not from SA but am sure there is a driveline shop somewhere

Would not hurt to ask, but more than likely they might say no. a TSB is just a notice to technicians about potential issues and will not fix every case. If it was a recall then it would be covered. I sure hope this fixes mine. I tried the zip tie method and it got worse.

So there's this guy in school that has a freakin' awesome jeep. He parked next to me this morning, started talking about trucks, and I found out that he gets 11 mpg!!!

Holy crap!!! That made me feel better about my 17 mpg hahaha. But still...

That sounds like par for the course for a jeep. Our '99 that we had all decked out to the nines barely got 8 to the gallon.
