I was looking at a pump because I can get them in the low $300's new but I'm thinking for a little more, this is a good deal. Here's the list of ammo included:

    (18) loose 3 1/2" slugs..plus 5 boxes (25) lightfield 3 1/2 " magnum shells and 4 boxes (20) winchester 00 buck 3 1/2" shells...total (63) 3 1/2" shells..$250.00 in shells alone

I'm guessing the 3-1/2" shells weren't doing him any favors. The ad said he took it hunting once, still even has the original box!

Seems like it's too good to let slide, honestly the time of year is the only thing holding me back at this point. Just finished Christmas shopping and paying the bills!

Made some changes to the LWRCIs today. Dumped the BUIS on the DMR in favor of moving the ACOG closer to the back of the rifle. I may put the BUIS in front of the ACOG but honestly, if your ACOG goes down in a fight you most likely went right along with it. I also added the VFG to it to help control it since its so front heavy with the can on it. I also moved the rail skin from the DMR to the bottom of the PSD and dumped the Aimpoint M3 for the time being. I carry the PSD almost as much as I carry a pistol and in this configuration with a 20 round magazine, it is very handy and easy to hide. I also put a LaRue A-Peg on the REPR. I love this grip. It feels like it locks your hand into the rifle.

I live in NJ, owning a gun here makes no sense. I dont hunt, but you cant hunt with a rifle and you can't carry. I want a pistol though. I'd love a nice 1911.

Crooks and Murderers don't exist in NJ? If they do exist do they not travel in packs from time to time? Have there ever been abuses of power in NJ? Police Brutality? I can think of plenty of reasons to own a gun beyond hunting. The forefathers felt the same since they didn't put any provisions in about hunting.

i like theS&W A LOT MORE. my buddy has had both, and i have shot both. the S&W just feels a lot better. it also holds 6 round/shells instead of 5. also the s&w will shoot 2 1/2” 410,45 long colt and 45 ACP. only think the judge will do is shoot a 3” 410 shell. the shot pattern out of the s&w with #6 shot game load is really nice at 20 to 25 yards.

i have heard quite a bit about the judge having problems. alot to do with the cylinder timing being off and barrel and cylinder not lining up right.

when the constitution was written, there was no fear of guns being taken away from hunters as if you didn't hunt, you died. This means it's there for a very specific, non hunting purpose. I'm not convinced you'd be very successful defending the homeland w/ black powder though lol

    true.

a 1911 is not a hunting gun. and could not be used very well for hunting. would mess up a lot of meat. and you don’t have the distance like a rifle. about the only pistol i would hunt with is a .22 for small game. or maybe a governor with 410 shells in it.
