Spent all day building it! Still not done... Still need to put in al the bars to make a basket and some tie down points... And paint it next week

Currently four... will add two more once I get home next week. just used some 3x3 1/4" angle bar cut 1" wide, then welded onto 2" strip that goes the length of the bed. Did it as my final project for a metal fabrication class.
This was by far the largest project out of all 50 people in the class haha.

 

^^ I should add though that even with just four anchor points, it seems VERY solid. But I still wont push it till I have the other two.. idk why but in my head I'll just feel better when I have six in there.

 

if you aren't anchoring it into the bed bolts at all, i'd wrap around the front of it and bolt it to yhebed rails just behind the cab. you'll most likely see some front to back shifting otherwise.

So I get home after Working for 18 hours and I find this unexpected package waiting for me on the stoop.....I bring it inside and open up and it is a box full of love......wow omg so many yummys it made my day......
