This. I have found myself more and more getting I to camp well past dark. Now..not a problem with 360* lighting. Awesome.

    Yes..yes it is.

I have had and do have a TON of lights. The two sets ill use for this are my Hella 500s and light force 240s. Hellas cost what..80 buck max with shipping?? Light forces new cost..4-500 bucks. Is there a difference..yes on a HUGE scale.

The light forces project way way way more light way way way farther then the Hellas ever could. Even after I HIDed them with 55w bulbs..still not on the same level.

100 dollars for a good well build offroad light is great.

If I wheeled at night more, I'd totally jump at the chance to grab some; it'd give me an excuse to learn how the fuck to do electrical stuff too

but alas. I cant justify it

retros are an amazing improvement over stock

if anything, I want a few dually's to add to my reverse lights, and maybe a few hiding in the grill.

    thatd be sweet

I'll tell you, even if I had extra money in that amount, even if I was swimming in a sea of cash, I could never bring myself to pay that kind of money for Rigids. I doubt I'd ever use aurora's warranty, too much of a PITA but they're cheap enough in comparison that I'd need not worry as long as they functioned out of the box. As I understand it as well, Aurora has been making their lights longer than the Rigids... but I haven't validated that. Edit: Nevermind, lol.

I will never buy a large LED bar. They just don't have the power or optics that a full size light have.

I just did a retrofit a few weeks ago and the improvement over stock is immense. However I couldn't just stop there. I also picked up a 21" LED bar and two 6" bars from Blitzpro. I haven't installed them yet but I am extremely happy with how bright they are, especially for the price. I don't night wheel that much. But it's extremely dark 6 months out of the year up here so that's how I justify more lights. I'm eventually going to add two lightforces as well when I get a bumper that can accommodate it all :D

Yea..still not impressed..the just don't have the distance yet. I think eventually they will..but not yet. Only thing that LEDs have that I think is a great advantage is footprint size. Makes them nice for roof lights and what not and easy to tuck up. But I'd never put one on the roof. You want long range spots on the roof and LEDs just haven't caught up yet. When they do..ill think about getting one. Until then, 55w HID Hellas that fold down are the ticket for me.

x2. There is no substitute for high quality spots/driving lights like LF or Hella make...yet anyway.
