People send you money through PayPal by Logging on and using your email address. Then it goes into your PayPal account.then you transfer it from your PayPal account to your bank account or whatever you have set up

Yeah, people use the email addy you set up in your paypal acct to send payments to. Link your bank to it so you can transfer money to your bank acct from paypal or just leave money in paypal acct to use when purchasing stuff before it uses money from the bank acct/cc card provided. I highly suggest an extra dummy acct at your bank that you can use for internet that you can xfer money into and out of main acct via your online banking. That way you have acct away from your main stuff, 30 paypal purchase protection & 45 day credit card purchase protection. With that and lifelock thru our new bank, it is about as safe as you can make things for online activity. Nothing is 100% these days tho............the premier acct on paypal ups the withdrawal limits or eliminates them and other perks. Wether or not you need it depends on your activity levels. I have not needed it and I have had an acct for yrs. The monthly withdrawal limit from personal paypal acct = 500.00.

Perhaps giving them a call too? I'm sure they can direct you to find the answers you are after, likewise having a verified account will net you a foot in the door.

It's super easy, just create an account on Paypal and read the directions.

In short you'll create an identity there linked to your e-mail address. Then you add credit/debit cards and/or checking accounts to send and receive money from/to.

Choose a STRONG password if setting up a new account there. A strong password is at least 8 characters with upper, lower, numbers and special characters. You don't wanna get that account hacked :)

After setup you 'send' money to other people with Paypal accounts via their email address or vice versa.

Ya link it to a dummy secondary account or don't put your bank account on it to start just a credit card with fraud protection. I learned the hard way. Some dude in China ripped off my iTunes and I had it linked to paypal for payment to my primary bank account. Well let's just say five months later I was still working it out to the tune of a thousand bucks, and I caught the purchases within 45 minutes fo the first one and shut down my bank account. I was stuck because my direct deposit ws linked to that account and I had to go reconfigure all my accounts, credit cards, pg and e, car payment, etc.

    Cheers,
    -Jon

I wasn't bashing at all. I was simply questioning why he knowingly posted in the section he did. knowing it's the wrong section.

I edited that out of my post because I knew you weren't. Didn't want to imply that or mean that.
