LOL our cats do that, but they give us the evil eye for the first hour or so because they're pissed at us for leaving them.

Not her. The person we had check on her said she waited by the window the whole time. She was at the door ready for us.

generally they don't pour the basement and garage floors until the framing is basically done. you would have a sump in the garage not a drain that connects to the sewer system.

No, they pour the basement and garage floors here first, if they can. Just talked to the Forman, and they are looking to pour them tomorrow. And the Garage does have drains, no sump. I think they just drain to the yard and not to the sewer system.

It takes Amigo less than an hour. He is an attention whore cat. ;)

Erica is putting up the "Christmas tree." I absolutely HATE fake trees, but it seems to be the thing every wants to get these days. I love the smell of a real Christmas tree.

That sucks. I love the smell of them. I don't think I will ever be allowed to get one again though. That was my favorite part of Christmas... Going out and cutting down the tree. I also worked on that side too... I worked at a Christmas tree farm for about 5 years. I loved it. Loved helping people find it and cut it, haul it, bail it and get all the girl's #'s that I would help out. Plus, the tips ended up being great since it was usually 10-50 bucks for heloing certain people.

Not a big fan of real trees. Not only is there a decent size mess to clean up on New Years Day there is also the bugs and spiders that come into the house with the tree. :D
