Looking back now, pregnancy was the easy part. 3 years into it, wife is still extra emotional (guess all the hormones changed her), and my little girl runs circles around me. Would definitely do it again and kinda look forward to another. So punishing and rewarding at the same time. :)

My girlfriend will be 10 weeks long on Sunday, she's super laid back so it's been really easy. Glad I got a double cab!

We traded in my regular cab just because of this. However, I will warn you to test out baby seats before you buy one. Many of them don't fit well in the Tacoma. In fact I am finding many many complaints about Tacomas and car seats. Oh well, too late now!

Had to put mine in the middle of the back seat. I keep my seat pretty far back, so when I first tried it, my face looked exactly like this  . Passenger seat had to be all the way forward, which means my wives knees where in het chest, and she is short. So I thought OH NO, we will never take the Tacoma anywhere. Well, luckily, it git in middle of back seat, and fits in between the backs of the front seats. So might want to give that a try if need be.

I figured that out too. the only problem then is my wife has trouble reaching in to release the seat and get the baby out. Not impossible, just more inconvenient. With the seat we got it fits behind the passenger seat ok. The seat has to be a few notches forward, but not all the way. It wouldn't be comfy for any long trips thats for sure. The taco is my DD and most of the time if I have the baby my wife won't be with me, so not such a big deal.

Ya, my wife doesn't drive my truck, so if we take it, I'm the one getting him in and out. Not gonna lie, as he gets heavier, its a bitch to lift him out from the middle. But no other choice, so it is what it is. I didn't want to have to take my wife's Chevy Equinox up to my cabin. :p . Like I said, there is no way its fitting behind the passenger seat. I didn't think that through, and wife wanted that seat/stroller set. She was the pregnant one, so she was the boss.

The wife is definitely the boss! I have a Tahoe for trips and adventures, so I am not too worried about the seat fitting well. I may try the middle seat while she is still tiny. Seems like using the seat belt won't be nearly as easy as using the latch stuff on the side seats. I wish they would put latch points in the middle. Silly Toyota.

They do have latch points in the middle, they are behind the seat.
