Wow, thankful that you are still here and that he helped call an ambulance for you. Amazing story. You are proof of the miracle of medicine! Cheers to you! (water, not energy drinks!) :)

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I do want to grow old and enjoy life, but if I had to die young, I would hope to be riding my atv or motorcycle. Two of my most favorite things in the whole wide world to do, and I would be happy as ever when I went.

If I died right now and faced some kind of judgemental squidfaced sky-wizard, I'd go for his balls.

I've managed to somehow make it through almost 38 years. I was voted "most likely to be dead or in prison by 25" in high school.

I've seen things few other people have. I've cheated death more times already than I'd care to admit (I've been hit by lightning TWICE. Shot once. Stabbed three times. Hit by a '78 Chevy. I could go on. You get the idea.)

I've ALREADY got a lifetime of living under my belt, and at this point I've long since used up my 'nine lives'. Everything going forward is gravy.

Hell, I'm not even going to get into the 'afterlife' angle, as religion and I don't get along real well.

But every person that has ever lived is dead. And every person living will die. I ain't so special to think it ain't gonna get me one day.

I'll go with my head held high and two middle fingers up.

This might sound silly, but reading your post reminded me of the movie "Lawless" and the brothers.

By the way, I bet you got some stories to tell!!!

My stories are mostly a bit dated (statute of limitations in various states) but very, very colorful.

I'm sorry though that I've never seen that movie, so I can't comment on that part!

My mom told me that both my sister and I were *oopsies*, and since then I always thought to myself, "I wasn't supposed to be, but I am. We're over the rainbow here people, lets see what goofy shit we can get away with!"

Right on. I have seen death when I was a volunteer firefighter. The toughest deaths were the ones that suffered and hurt before they died. I had a tough time with those.

Good responses here. I can agree with most of them. I'm afraid of being paralyzed or a vegetable. I don't have enough self control or patience for that stuff and if it was me it wouldn't work out well.

I am of the opinion, at 37, that one becomes 'dry behind the ears' if you're LUCKY in your mid 20s. Most don't until their 30s. A surprisingly large minority never does.

    I'm 19

    I am young and stupid.

But not THAT stupid, anymore, thankfully.

    Too many close calls
