Finished adding switches to my panel..for now..

 

I discovered I literally have blinker fluid. I found about 1/4" of water in my right blinker.

 

Jeeze, Mac... why don't you tell us how you really feel in your sig?!?! lol

 

Better be saving all that joy riding, got a whopping 6 hrs of it soon plus some to travel & I think it might be a big 10-4 for Shane too.. If he drives his piece so we can wheel 3 deep

Awesome! I just recently installed my AP ones as im pretty sure you know but anyways they work amazing along with my Fox xtended travels. The harder the crap I hit, the softer it feels

 

what'd you use to get the ball joint out of the spindle?

 

Wish I had the tools and such to do this...ugh...been looking to make a switch panel like this for a while.

 

Well I rented a puller thing from oreillys, but that thing was junk. Soo I just got the old sledge hammer and battered those things out of there.

It proved to work shockingly easy

 

I'm gonna try a bj press
with my luck, I'm 76% sure I'd break my spindle

cant wait though, my joints click and are sad

 

Yep that was the tool i attempted to use, the bj press. But its pretty easy to knock out the ball joints with the hammer cause the thing sticks out about 3-4 inches so just a few on target hits will show them whatsup.

I cant say how much better looking these AP uca's look compared to the old ding dong rubber booted slugs looked haha

 

Anyone got any tricks for removing the center bushing(vertical one) on the steering rack?

 

I didn't know you were running extended fox's, when'd you get those?


kinda thinking about prioritizing the coilover over armor. then my suspension will finally be done. Only other stuff I could do would go into the fabbing territory of which I have no experience

 

I got the Fox's about a little over a month ago?? I think, I got em from offroadwarehouse.com I ran them with the stock uca's for a couple weeks too.

Fabbing is easy if you know how to weld, which is pretty easy to learn too.
