oem versus aftermarket tube steps

    are there any differences between the way oem tube steps are attached and the aftermarket tube steps?

    Most if not all steps attach to the factory mounting locations in the underside of the cab

    so, regardless if they are aftermarket or oem, they are bolted on in basically the same manner?

    Thank you. That tells me that, in order to save a few bucks, I should just go aftermarket and bolt them on myself (I've been working in and around cars for a couple of decades).

    Or buy the OEM ones and do it yourself , whichever style you like best

    It's really easy , I used to have NFabs , and I put them on in like 10 minutes
