    You cant see it from this angle but this is the steering column im talkng about. Theres a rod that comes out of the steering rack that connects to the one in this picture. Then theres a flat bushing that bolts the two columns together. When it gets worn out it starts to warp and look like this: ~~

    I never felt the steering column rattle until I put the poly bushings on my steering rack. :eek:

    Noooooooo not that one haha tho some people weld that I wouldn't tho. No the one I'm talki about is right behind the steering wheel man. You have to pull the whole column out of the cab. Then take it apart.

    Not your steering rack bushings :D haha

    Not to mention you +wrench = scary :D

    That isn't the one Monte is talking about. There are splines on the column inside the cab too, under the dash.

    Right which is how you remove the steering column. By undoing the splie inside the truck. Then you take out the 3-4 12mm bolts holding it up and pul the whole steering wheel out with the shaft and other things. Gotta undo a bunch of wiring too. Just one wire but 3 or 4 plugs off the bottom.
