I was debating between the Porter Cable 7424, which is the traditional buffer most people buy.

I got the Mequiars G110 based on reputation, it was more powerfull, and quiet.

I got some polish, and two different kinds of waxes, NXT and Klasse.

Upon lifting it, you will notice the substantial heft. It has a D handle that is adjustable for the angle.

Bottom line is that I'm happy with it and it works well. Came with Lake Country Yellow, Black and white pads.

Paint looks and feels like glass and water.

Be careful of car polish. The way they work is they actually take a thin layer of paint off of the metal, that's how they polish. It's not a very good idea to do this to a new vehicle. I would suggest you just wash and wax your truck. I wouldn't want you to shorten the lifespan of your paint. Wax will actually protect your paint, polish will not. Polish should only be used on older cars whose paint is already in bad shape.
