This quote alone puts you YEARS ahead of most of the 'adult' population of this planet. Don't ever forget it.

    This.

Dying slowly would suck. Losing my mind would also suck. But simply being gone, quickly, seems like that wouldn't be so bad.

The only way I am afraid to die is not being able to fight to stay alive.

It sounds selfish of me but I would hope to die before another loved one did. Thinking a about my parents, brother or sister passing away scares the shit out of me. I would rather them bury me.

    Is that emo of me???:p

    This.

    Dead does not worry me.
What worries me is being in a condition where I am 100% dependent on others and a burden to them.

The only thing that worries me about death itself is HOW I go.
Being burned to death is at the top of that list.

my answer 2 the question, yes, i am afraid of dying, but lately it's not the fear of dying itself that scares me, but rather, will I make it into Heaven? I sure as He##, (no pun intended), DO NOT want to go south and spend eternity w/ the devil. i hope when i die, i get to spend eternity with "THE MAN UPSTAIRS" fingers CROSSED. LOL

Death is part of life. so we now it's not a matter of IF, but rather WHEN.

I question religion so the afterlife never comes to mind.

Anyhow, from what religion makes it seem, getting to heaven is like threading a needle while blindfolded plus being shot at with a pellet gun. Getting to hell is like kicking a field goal through a mile wide post.

    Back on topic.

I'm certain I will see all the people I miss that have passed from this life when I die , that alone makes me not fear the end

Random question. One I asked myself when my aunt passed from cancer.

Would you give 5yrs of your life to have a deceased loved one back for 1 day?

I don't think there is a blanket answer , but knowing you will see them again after you die would allow me to say no

Fair enough sir. I will leave it at that, without delving into religion or beliefs.

I went through a very similar situation to yours about 10 years ago and this post hit me a lot closer to home then you think. I type in tears as I think about it right now, wishing I could get the one back who I lost who had just barely begun to live his life. I wish you nothing but the best in the fight for your life my friend. Just keep your head up and keep a positive attitude, I'm sure you realize what life means and how beautiful it is now.

I will pray for you and wish you the best of luck on your journey.

    -Roberto

    Yes. I very much would.
