pretty much...magnet hidden behind the plastic, then you swap out a magnet cup on the cb...and bam, hidden mount

i'm thinking about having two hidden mounts, one by the air controls and one where it is now...so when i'm wheeling it can be in front of my shift and easier to hear, then when i'm just driving around i can put it down out of view by my leg

Just a thought...would such a strong magnet cause issues or interference with the speaker?

    it's not that strong....

but idk about you, but i don't have any speakers there :D

it's far enough from the radio that i wouldn't expect any issue there either...

    magnetic cups

    bars using for mount

probably using two bars at each location with the cup mounted through a screw mounting on the back of my cb

    derp....

i thought you were talking about radio speakers

idk yet...barlows said he was working fine, so i guess we'll see..

but i figure that's where having the cup style magnet would help..with some metal in between the magnet and the handset, maybe that'll help?

if not, i guess i'll be going cb shopping :D
