I can thank the android gingerbread keyboard for that spelling error. The phones are supposed to be getting smarter but their spelling prediction and correction still sucks..

    haha - it is.

people like this have tried to scam me multiple times... buying/selling Steeler tickets, selling my car, selling a guitar, buying ripoff NFL jerseys....

Western union is a big indicator... WU payments are hard to track.

beware of people on CL trying to pay using paypal too...

paypal on TW is "ok" though, there's some semblance of honor on these forums that i'm actually surprised about.

If the WHOIS puts the website in Panama, I'm almost 100% sure that its a scam. Panama is practically the money laundering capital of the world.

You begin to be skeptical of people on CL that insist to use paypal when you get a reply that says...

'I will pay you with paypal and send a courier to pick up the item as I am out of town in Europe. My courier will ship it to me after he picks it up from you...'

This is what they told me about trying to buy my 2003 Chevy Cavalier...no one wants a cavalier that bad. It's a scam.

It's too easy for people to get away with.

Hmm what if you said something like...

I contacted Western Union and they said the payment has been confirmed from me but they have placed a hold on your merchant code due to suspicious activity. I assume its because your in China but your website is in Panama. They said all you need to do is visit a Western Union in person with an ID and they will be able to disburse the payment. I guess this is something new they are starting as I have never run in to this before
