    If you paid online, it should take you to a screen where you type in some info and it automatically searches the insurance database and finds your insurance. Your company must participate in the online verification program through, which most every major company does. It will tell you if your good or not. If not then I don't think you can complete the online renewal.

    I've had friends pay. And go without tags for awhile. When they call and check on the tags the DMV never got the proof of insurance from the company and put it all on hold.
