    2 questions:

    1. do you need to remove the IFS skid for oil changes?
    2. can the catalytic be removed with the mid skid plate, or can you modify it so it can't be accessed? (a few have been stolen in the area).

I believe he has an access hole for oil changes. You can still access/steal the cats with the mid skids. You dont want to box them in as they put off way too much heat and need air flow. A cage from the skid to the frame would work but that may catch weeds and start fires.

I was just thinking a higher lip on the side would do the trick.

Yes, there is an oil drain plug clearance hole. Accessing the cats with the mid skids would be a pain in the ass, not sure they fit thru the spacing without a prybar. If I were a theif I would just move on to the next victim, it would just be easier to remove skid to steal cat or get any sort of tool in there, trying to steal them off a truck with belly armor is just foolish when there are others on every corner.
A small tab could be added to deter them even more if desired. I do not make the flanges any higher because of the yield form a plate of material.

Yep, I need a real IFS skid plate. Got to decide how much the other two add in protection -vs- cost including shipping...

One rock through the tranny pan and you'll be wishing you bought them. Id recommend rerouting the exhaust crossover and getting the flat skid for best clearance.

Nice dings on that gnarly rear bumper Tyler! Just saw it on the bench and it looks like whomever ass tapped you got quite a reality check in the same moment.

In case anyone was wondering, this ^^^ is Nick. He's the newest welder/fabricator here. He's kickin ass, doing a helluva job. He knows his way around these trucks and has his own build going that's gonna be an E-ticket ride for sure.
