How often do you go through uniballs, mine creak clunk and have play after 12K miles. Lowers clunking nicely, teflon has begun to peel out too.

It's the snow/salt. Winter kills them. I went 18k on my last ones.

I suggest switching out the lowers for Stainless steel when you swap them out, the uppers you're stuck with mild steel as no one makes 1.25" Stainless Uniballs.

My uppers are already starting to corrode/rust & the lowers look brand new.

No. They're Aurora Bearings branded, suppose to be a higher quality then FK, but no not stainless.

They don't sell directly usually. Poly or Kartek will most likely have them if you call

Auroras are not mild steel! They are some of the best. Most are Teflon coated 4130 or 4140 and heat treated.

Once a year average, 15-18k miles..had this kit for almost 4 years now.. but just as mentioned, type of use and abuse, geographical regions all effect normal wear and tear. LT kits regardless of whos the manufacturer is high maintenance. Replacing hiems and uni-balls ofton should be expected as part of proper maintenance even tho it seems excess when compared to maintaining a stock truck .

Do I get mad when I have to replace worn parts? Heck no, i think about the abuse I put my junk through..from DD, crawling, towing, and of course prerunning ..just all part of it

if you are using the camburg 1.25" uniballs they last for crap . the races are thinner than a 1" uniball race and ive had some customers that have to change them out about every 10-15k miles.

aurora 1" uniballs usually last a long time. 20-30k miles at the min with a mixed use truck. i have a set with 10k on them and they are still tight

i seem to go through shock uniballs the quickest , usually every 8-10k miles depending on how much i hit the dirt.

the biggest problem with accelerated spherical bearing wear is the misalingment spacers. how they were machined, radius tolerance , mating edge and finish all play a part .in either letting too much grime in from too much clearance. beating the liner up from too big a machined radius, the transition tearing the liner up . and the surface finish having machining grooves in them also tearing up the liner .

Couple shocks, some old tires, and a bad paint job
I never have used Aurora before but I stand by the JMX FK series uniballs as they have exceeded my expectations.
